Combining culture with eat and drink opportunities has proven the key to a successful 'foodie' festival event. With a menu of over 100 events across towns and cities in the Riverina, visitors to the region can indulge in street festivities, music, food stalls, fine dining, 'meet the maker' events and tasting experiences everyday throughout October.

Friday's launch event, 'A night in Paris at the Roxy' in Leeton is set to bring industry, business, local food-lovers and visitors alike to a once-in-a-lifetime event of cabaret entertainment, a tapas-style menu of local produce matched with local beer and wine. Tickets $55 purchase online at In the morning, Leeton Farmers Markets play host to one of the Riverina's most successful 'meet the maker' events, with brass band and alfresco dining.

Wagga's Cork 'n Fork festival is also on Friday 2nd October, for the 'foodies' in Wagga. Set on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, tastebuds will be taken on a culinary journey of discovery, with local food and produce to try. Mixed with local DJs, musicians and solo artists, this will be an entertaining event. Starts at 6pm with no entry fee.

On Sunday, Gears and Beers craft beer and cider festival in Wagga's Victory Memorial Gardens is a local event that has gathered momentum, held in conjunction with the Wollundry Cycle Challenge. Food and entertainment, sport and fitness are the key with a festive atmosphere.
