Nominations for the 2016 NSW Tourism Awards are now open!

The 2016 NSW Tourism Awards consist of 27 categories which capture a range of tourism services including Major Tourist Attractions, Festivals and Events, Tourism Restaurants & Catering Services, Business Event Venues and Excellence in Food Tourism.

Managed by the NSW Business Chamber in partnership with Destination NSW, the annual NSW Tourism Awards celebrate and acknowledge tourism excellence in NSW.

Now in their 28th year, the Awards promote and reward tourism businesses that demonstrate outstanding achievement and set the standard for best practice within the state’s tourism industry.

Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres said “The NSW Tourism Awards presents a fantastic opportunity to recognise the quality products and world-class experiences consistently delivered by our industry, and I encourage NSW tourism operators across the State to enter now for their chance to be praised at this year’s Awards.”

The criteria and categories of the NSW Tourism Awards are set by the Australian Tourism Industry Council (ATIC) and NSW winners from categories 1 – 25 automatically progress to the national level at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards where they are judged against the best from each State and Territories.
