Reunite in the Riverina – campaign reaches over 35,000 on social media.

“Reunite in the Riverina”, a Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR) campaign aimed to encourage locals to make the invitation to their friends and family to ‘come on home’, has reached great heights as the 4-month campaign kicks into gear. Over 35,000 people have viewed the social media campaign in the initial weeks. Advertising will continue to promote the campaign on Facebook and Twitter, with extra partnership funding derived from the following member councils: Carrathool, Cootamundra, Griffith, Lockhart, Narrandera, Temora, and Wagga Wagga.

A newspaper insert will be distributed in August via Fairfax Media and selected newspapers and letterbox drops. This flyer will promote the Reunite in the Riverina campaign as part of the Riverina Localist program, and include a wide range of offers from businesses within participating member councils. These vouchers encourage locals to redeem their offer for exclusive gifts, discounts and in some cases, free tickets.

The campaign's television promotion builds awareness of the Reunite concept, with a directive to register their get-together online to WIN the ultimate Riverina long lunch, featuring delicious regional produce.
