For the past seven years, this one-day festival of food, dance and music has been celebrating the multicultural heritage of Griffith in the Riverina. In 2016, it's back with more great food, arts and crafts stalls, face-painting, henna painting, a spaghetti-eating competition, a jumping castle, balloons and more. On stage in Memorial Park, there'll be dance and music performances to keep everyone entertained for a fun day of community celebrations. Griffith is home to around 20 different cultural groups and many of them are involved in this community event - Fijians, Samoans, Maoris, Chinese, Chileans, Italians, Aboriginal groups and more. You'll have the chance to eat locally-made ice cream and coffee, pizza and pasta and maybe a glass of local wine. Watch out for a few extra surprises this year! Last year it was bagpipes.
